Artist's Comments
This is my first Granado Espada fanart.
It was inspired by the music and look of my favorite City, Coimbra.
(...And also my favorite UPC, Gracielo! )
Though I don't have an elementalist, myself. I think they're very pretty and innocent looking, which makes them the perfect counterpart to rough and rugged Gracielo.
In this picture, it's a gloomy and soaking wet day. The most unlikely person to ever behave like a gentleman is shielding the sweet young lady from the downpour and in the process, allowing himself to become soaked.
Maybe it's out of compassion, or maybe she truly isn't as innocent as she appears and is the one who put him in his current unhappy situation.
Whatever you believe, I hope you enjoy this. ^^
